Hello You! Sorry I wasn't really motivated to post much events on my blog back then but I sure will love to tell you what has happened the past 3 years, in summary.
I received a Mission call on August 7, 2009 to serve in the California Los Angeles Mission, with ASL as my native language. My thought: Why would I'd be serving in my home state? That's hilarious! But still, I accepted and my family and I got myself prepped to report to the Missionary Training Center (MTC) on November 11, 2009. Since then, I was trained there for 2 months (flu season, sick for 5-6 weeks, loved it) and served in LA til October 26, 2011. I got to tell you, it has been the best 2 years of my life, TRUE BUSINESS. Learned SO much, met TONS of awesome people, improved myself to become a better person (not perfect obviously), and has made me more happier and that was my life's goal: to endure happy!
As I flew home to the Bay, I was in tears, very sad I left the mission but overall, I was thrilled to see my family along with 2 new kids I was eager to embrace with my arms. The feelings were priceless and it went on for a couple weeks. Also, my brother and I were reunited once again after being separated for about 4 years. We've been inseparable since then. I hung out with the family for the holidays: Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. It was PERFECT take advantage of our time together before we went our separate ways back to reality.
~I LOVE MY FAMILY~
I’m back in Orem again for UVU as a sophomore! So excited…So far I’m done with my 1st month of school, and pressure’s already on but I learned how to cope with it and it’s processing well, thanks to my Health & Wellness class. I enjoy learning how websites really work, building my strength to overcome the nervous stage as I act out my monologue and future scenes in my acting class, draining myself in Economic History class (all lectures and no pictures makes me a dull boy), and bringing back my writing skills and critical thinking in my final English course. It’s all worth it! Yes, I’m always with my amazing friends during weekdays and full-time weekends, the fun never end! I love my friends of course and they mean a lot me. I’ve gotten used to my ward being in a different building (not a church chapel, but a school building…STRANGE huh?!) I really miss my multi-lingual ward, East Bay 3rd when I was new here and introduce there…ah, memories!
